Terras da Lagoa Condominium

Terras da Lagoa Condominium

The real estate development Terras da Lagoa Condominium is situated in Aramari, a municipality neighboring Alagoinhas, in Bahia. An area totaling 500 thousand square meters was subdivided into 472 residential lots ranging from 454 to 1,242 square meters. The Condominium is surrounded by a natural landscape composed of beautiful green areas, rivers and lagoons.

The designs developed by the firm for the communal areas of the Terras da Lagoa Condominium include: an entrance gate, entertainment areas, squares, a club with pools, courts, a playground and party hall, as well as an Equestrian Center with forty stalls, totaling 3,000 square meters.

To determine the uses of the open spaces, factors such as location and the presence of natural elements were considered. Four squares with different configurations were established, allowing for a variety of leisure options for residents and visitors.

The Terras da Lagoa Condominium seeks to become the first upscale development in the surroundings of Alagoinhas, with the objective of encouraging leisure activities, increased safety for its residents and an escape from the daily grind of the central areas, in addition to easy access to other regions via the highway. The demand for this type of living option arose with the economic and social development resulting from the growing industrial activity in the region.

The country scenery, in combination with the need to reinforce characteristics associated with a quiet life, led to the selection of materials utilized in the project. In order to affect a welcoming air, the design proposed the use of brick and wood, simple materials that can be found in the region.
